Justin Fernandes

Hello Science students!My name is Justin Fernandes, and I am running to be your VP External because I have the experience and determination to shift this portfolio in exciting new directions. I have been heavily involved with the External portfolio as a member of the Frosh, Science Week, and Corporate Relations committees, and seek to expand the central role of external communications that has been severely lacking in the recent past.

The four aspects of my platform are to:
(1) Solidify the Corporate Relations Committee as an integral part of the Society
(2) Strengthen ties with Science Alumni
(3) Engage other groups on campus to provide support for Science students
(4) Create more leadership opportunities by hiring Directors for the Society’s flagship events

Bio

Ricky Mamonluk

Fellow Science students,I am Ricky Mamonluk, and I am looking to be your next VP External. I have been an active member of SUS since my first year, and I believe that I have what it takes to serve the Science student body as an executive.

Over the past two years, I have served as an activity and group leader for Frosh. I most recently served as Co-Chair for Science Week 2012 alongside the current VP External, and the experience encouraged me to undertake a more involved role within the SUS community. As your VP External, I plan to continue to promote active participation and involvement within SUS while fostering external relations with sponsors and alumni.
