Sup KIN!!!For those of you in KIN and who don’t know me, my name is Alex Rebchuk. I’m in 3rdyear KIN, in the Health Science stream, and I am running to be your KUS president for next year! During my previous three years at UBC I have taken up many leadership roles within the KUS and around UBC. Notably, I have been involved with KIN Frosh for the past three years. I was the coordinator of Frosh last year, which was a resounding success, and I will maintain this role next year. My other work for the KUS involves being the Health Science stream representative, working with the tutoring program and helping to coordinate social events within KIN. To boot, I have been involved with UBC REC as an assistant director, and worked in the student-trainer program for UBC Athletics. My experiences provide me with a broad view of student life at UBC.I take my candidacy platform with the uttermost seriousness. First and foremost, I promise to develop a better student space for KIN students. Secondly, I promise to establish a KIN week next year. Thirdly, I promise to voice the opinions of KIN students to the faculty, staff, AMS and the community. Finally, the KUS will expand the services and social events it offers to students under my presidency!I believe that my experiences within KIN and UBC have provided me with the necessary skills to be an excellent president. I am a very welcoming individual and if elected would always be available to discuss any issues you may have – wherever, whenever. I appreciate your vote!!!
MUCH LOVE -Alex |
