Hi! My name is Kristyna Hoang, a First Year student in the Faculty of Arts and a candidate for the position of VP Student Life. I believe I will do a great job based on three things: VISION, DEDICATION, and DETERMINATION. My vision is to promote Arts spirit at UBC through great events, increase student involvement with the AUS and actively encourage cooperation between the AUS and other Faculties’ organizations by regular meetings and better communication. I am dedicated to put 110% into making sure that all promises are carried out to provide a great community for all students. Moreover, I am extremely passionate about advocating student interest and student life. I am determined and not afraid to go the distance to make sure all actions taken by the AUS will be within the students’ best interest!

Greetings!
Presently, I’m honoured to be part of the AUS First Year’s Committee as Social Director. It has been my utter pleasure and privilege to serve the first year undergraduates by organizing successful events such as ‘ The No Pants Dance’, ‘Faculty Wars’ and ‘The Gong Show’. However, having established a place in the AUS network and gaining a lot more experience, I now wish to extend my services to the rest of the Arts Undergraduates as VP Student life. With the confidence and connections I have developed this past year, I strive to use my well rounded leadership skills in organizing all social and athletic events held by the AUS. I believe the skills I’ve acquired over the years throughout high school to date, will enable me to live up to the current AUS standards and take it to another level to build a bigger, better, brighter Arts Undergraduate Community.
